Adrienne Cohen, Inc. has been working with clients
to fulfill their desires and dreams of pleasing interiors and
personalized, comfortable architectural spaces for more than 25
years in Dallas and Santa Fe. In 1995, the company that bears
her name was incorporated in New Mexico since then she has been
responsible for creating great homes in and around Santa Fe, basically
one at a time; each one an original, and each one an expression
of the owners personality.
For the past six years, Adrienne has concentrated her efforts
in the Northwest County area, building 9 special homes ranging
in size from 1,400 to almost 14,000 square feet. Her design philosophy
is that, just as each family is unique, every home ought to be
special, and serve as a reflection of a family’s individuality.
Her designs are comfortable and functional, creative and cost-effective,
often with a dramatic or whimsical touch to add interest. She
starts with “a blank piece of paper” to capture the essence of
the view and to provide a well integrated structure on each lot.
Responsible for all aspects of the design and building process,
Adrienne credits her tam of subcontractors and suppliers, many
of whom have been working with her for 15 years, with capturing
her vision and creating the fine finished homes that satisfy her
clients so well.
The two Adrienne Cohen homes currently under construction on
Avenida Frijoles in Aldea de Santa Fe will be unique and special
residences. Designed with large living spaces, each features a
chef’s kitchen with Viking appliances, a master suite with large
walk in closet and a soothing bath retreat, Kohler plumbing fixtures,
masonry fireplaces, and outdoor spaces to enhance and complement
the whole. Adrienne knows that “home” is a haven in this busy
world, and that a house is a great commitment and large expenditure.
She firmly believes that no matter what the size or the price,
each house she builds can become a prized sanctuary for its owners.
It is that tradition that she has designed one of the Aldea houses
as a contemporary expression of Santa Fe style, with modern and
original materials: while the other home is to be a more traditional
design, with colorful Mexican influences to highlight its “spirit”
and livability. Both homes incorporate the most up-to-date technology
to provide ease of maintenance and energy efficiency and offer
years of care-free living potential and value.
Adrienne Cohen, Inc homes have been featured in numerous publications
including the “Santa Fean” and “The New Mexican” and on the annual
Haciendas-A Parade of Homes. Adrienne is a past president of the
Santa Fe Area Homebuilders Association and serves on the board
of New Mexico Homebuilders Association. She served on the board
of the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate for three years and
co-chaired the first women’s build a house in Santa Fe, during
the national First Ladies Build promotion by Habitat.
Adrienne and her husband David are active in the community and
take pride in the fact that they live in the neighborhoods in
which she builds in. |
